Legacy was founded in the early '90's specifically to produce high-end biographical documentaries for those who wish to chronicle their lives and times, or the lives and times of loved ones, as a legacy for future generations. While similar to A&E Network's "Biography" series in style, Legacy's work would be better described as catering to the "rich but not necessarily famous."

Most of us want to be remembered and most of us are interested in from whence we came. "What was Great Grandma like" is a common query of children. "Where was she from and what did she do?" All too often, several dog-eared pictures and a few anecdotes are all that can be offered in response.

Legacy Productions was created to change all that. We produce professional documentaries that chronicle your life, or a loved one's life, for the enjoyment and edification of future generations. These films should not be confused with simple "oral histories" or "video diaries." Rather, we create full length, broadcast quality documentary films.

Much time will be spent with you to plan the film. Together, we will thoroughly outline the film, determine its tone, decide who should be interviewed, and go over the ancillary materials to be included, such as photographs, documents, and old home movies. Clients willing to put forth the effort to help plan the film will be rewarded with a final product that will be cherished forever.

Humble folks are apt to say that their lives have not been interesting enough to warrant a Legacy Production. While their humility is admirable, it is usually misplaced. Remember, the film is not targeted to television audiences who can't know enough about their favorite stars. Rather, the film is for your children, your grandchildren and your great grandchildren.
